The COVID pandemic has triggered a wave of disruption and accelerated the development of the future of learning and work. One sub-segment which has felt arguably the most pronounced ripple effects of the pandemic is the Early Childhood Education (ECE) segment. This summer, Lumos had the privilege of hosting its first summer intern — Yu Jeong Lee. Yu Jeong, a rising junior at Princeton, was a tremendous addition to the team and had a keen interest in the ECE space. Among many other things, Yu Jeong spearheaded our deeper research into this important segment, sizing the market, categorizing various players, developing thematic areas for growth, and highlighting the opportunity that lies ahead. We're pleased to share some of that work with our community here.
